antiSOCIAL's Putting Together a Gig by Soulmate + The Groovesmen & We're Already There!

Let go of the usual Thursday night tradition, and hit antiSOCIAL to groove to the music of Soulmate plus an opening session by The Groovesmen! Soulmate is a Shillong-based band, inspired by the groovy sound of blues music, and they perform to spread awareness about this melodic genre. 

Medley of Melodies | The band was conceptualised by Rudy Wallang (guitar & vocals) and Tipriti Kharbanger (vocals & guitar),  and on-stage they’re joined by Leon Wallang and Vincent Tariang on bass and drums, respectively. Their inspiration ranges from Jimi Hendrix to The beatles, Elvis Presley, BB King and Bob Dylan! Nice.

When asked why they chose blues music, their answer is quirky and short “We didn’t choose the blues, the blues chose us!”
