This Is A Representative Image
One of the biggest transportation hubs in East Delhi is Anand Vihar. It consists of a railway station, 2 inter-state bus terminals and 2 Delhi metro corridors. There’s a new addition to this hub that’s in talks, and we’re here to tell you all about it!
Easier Commute | An 82-km long Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) underground corridor is set to be built that’ll easily integrate the different modes of transportation here. This 11.5 km stretch will have an underground platform and a concourse at ground level. It will be connected to Anand Vihar railway station, Delhi Metro’s Blue and Pink Line metro stations and the ISBT’s at Anand Vihar & Kaushambi.
This new addition will ensure a convenient, safe and a faster commute for the travellers as with the help of this corridor, the passengers will be able to change their mode of transportation without stepping on the road.
We’re hoping that the construction of this corridor starts ASAP, what do you guys think?
