We all know that people are struggling to find oxygen supplies in the city. But this recent development that saw the setting up of two oxygen plants in the city has come in like a beacon of hope and here's all you need to know!
A Beacon Of Hope | Narayana Super Speciality Hospital in East Delhi had also been facing difficulties in procuring medical oxygen until they received an email from the French Embassy the previous week. They wanted to donate an oxygen generator to their Bangalore facility but the hospital requested them to donate the same to the Delhi facility, as they were battling against a shortage of oxygen. Due to the seriousness of the situation, the installation process was ramped up and the generator was dispatched in a day.
The installation process was super quick and the plant was up and running in less than 18 hours after landing. It has the capacity to fill 48 cylinders weighing 40-60 litres each in 24 hours. This will give them some room to tide over the crisis that may occur due to a shortage of oxygen supply from their regular channels. BLK Super Specialty Hospital has also received this generator from the French Government and some public hospitals have also received these generators. In fact, Lady Hardin College has also received more than 100 oxygen concentrators as foreign aid.
With this development, we dare say we're kind of hopeful that maybe the situation is going to get better by the day. Until then stay home and stay safe.
