After Sealing 6,500 Buildings, The Sealing Drive Is Set To Resume From Next Week In Delhi
Delhizens, we’re the bearers of some unfortunate news this time. The dreaded sealing drive, that had taken up the entire city by storm, is back to haunt our lives once again. Yep, be prepared peeps. Read on as we tell you what’s going on.
Here’s What’s Up | The monitoring committee appointed by the Supreme Court has said that the sealing drive is gonna resume from next week onwards, and we’re already holding our breath in the horror of which market the drive is going to target next!
We don’t know yet which markets the sealing drive is gonna target this time, but we can already smell bad news! The authorities are gonna start inspection from next week onwards and then directions will be issued to civic authorities.
Meanwhile, the municipal corporation has been asked to initiate action against all illegal bank lockers in the city. Uh-ho! The authorities clarified that sealing of bank lockers operating from the basement is only for the banks which do not comply with the sanctioned building plans, that is, if they don’t have provision for a basement in the building.
Well, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that this sealing drive is not as scary as the previous one that led to the sealing of about 6,500 buildings across the city!
