A Weekend Curfew Has Been Imposed In Delhi And Here's What's Allowed & Restricted!

Have you made plans for stepping out during the weekend? Well, if you have then you may want to reconsider and probably even change it as we just heard that the Delhi Government has now imposed a weekend lockdown and here’s all the information you need regarding this.

Weekend Lockdown? | The Delhi Government has announced that the city will go into a weekend curfew to tackle the rising number of new infections. Keeping the grim situation in mind, a meeting was held between the Delhi Government, Lieutenant Governor and other top officials. Essential activities which include weddings that have already been planned will be allowed to take place with curfew passes. However, auditoriums, malls, gyms & spas will be shut down. Restaurants will be shut for dine-in and only takeaways & deliveries will be allowed. 

Cinema theatre will be allowed to function with a third of its capacity and weekend markets will continue to function but with strict restrictions in place. This decision has been taken after the positivity rate increased in the city and it recorded the highest number of positive cases on Wednesday, the 15th of April ever since the outbreak of the virus in the national capital.
