A Flurry Of Flyovers, Underpasses & Tunnels Are Being Planned To Ease Traffic In Delhi

Delhiites, it’s time to stop cribbing about so much traffic on the streets, because the city is about to get a whole bunch of new flyovers to reduce the traffic! 

Delhi’s infrastructure is set for a major boost in the coming years with a whole slew of new flyovers being constructed soon. Flyovers, underpasses and underground tunnels are being constructed for the same and we just can’t wait to enjoy these luxuries! 

Flyovers will soon be constructed on the Outer Ring Road and the existing ones on Ring Road will get extended for easier and quicker commute in the city. Even underground u-turns on Mathura Road will be introduced, which are sorely needed! 

To reduce congestion, a series of grade separators on Outer Ring Road will be made. In South-East Delhi, the existing Modi Mill flyover will be connected to the Kalkaji flyover. The Savitri Cinema flyover will be doubled in width and a two-way flyover will be constructed on the Malviya Nagar junction. The proposal also includes the doubling of Sarai Kale Khan flyover on Ring Road.

Sounds amazing! Not only this, a whole lot of other flyovers and underpasses will also be introduced soon guys. Driving around the city will get easier and much smoother now!
