Travelling in Delhi can be such a pain, all thanks to the harrowing traffic! But this ferry service on the Yamuna river could possibly be our guardian angel, and here’s the good news. A pilot ferry service between Ghaziabad and Delhi is gonna kick start after the monsoons!

Ghaziabad To Delhi In 30 Minutes! | From Tronica City in Ghaziabad to Sonia Vihar in Delhi, this service will bring down travel time between the two cities to (JUST) 30 minutes! The Inland Waterways Authority of India has sanctioned Rs 7.55 crores for this project which also includes setting up of 3 floating jetties and ancillary facilities for tourists to reach the boarding and deboarding points.

Rides on this pilot stretch will operate through electricity and diesel-run vessels. In future, we may also have vessels for feeder services to metro stations located near the riverfront, like Kashmere Gate and Indraprastha! Now that’s something to look forward to!

Regular ferry services between the cities will start by December this year. Fingers crossed!
