Wassup Delhizens? We’re back with another happy news about a proposed expressway project that will connect Delhi to Jammu & Kashmir. This 300 km stretch will save you helluva time and we’ve got all the deets for you right here!

Travel Made Easier | Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway project gets a go ahead! The total cost of this expressway is Rs 30,000 crore and it will pass through Amritsar. The approximate length is 600 km with 4 lanes to avoid traffic woes. The Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway is a part of the Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase 1 and the proposal has already been approved by the Central Government.

This highway will not only ensure a hassle-free journey to Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, but the wide stretch will ensure that there are no traffic jams in the area. Moreover, it will also cut down the travel time to parts of Punjab as opposed to the excessive time taken by existing expressways!
