Ever since the demonetisation bug hit the country, there’s been an influx of new and colorful currency notes in the city. Post the introduction of magenta Rs 2,000 notes and grey Rs 500 notes and a couple more since then, the RBI is now set to launch chocolate brown Rs 10 notes soon in the market.

All The Colours Of The Rainbow | Looks like the RBI is going all out in adding all the colours of the rainbow to our currency! This all new Rs 10 note is chocolate brown in colour and has the motif of the Konark Sun Temple in Odisha on the reverse side.

This will be the newest addition to the New Mahatma Gandhi series of banknotes, and we’re really looking forward to seeing it first hand.

A big change from the age old orange Rs 10 notes that we’ve been seeing since childhood, these notes will be more intricate in design and descriptive too. The last change in design in the Rs 10 note was made back in 2005, and now it’s time for a complete revamp!
