The traffic congestion in Dwarka is at its peak, especially in the evenings. To ease this congestion, DDA is creating Delhi’s second BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) corridor that’ll connect Dwarka to IGI.

Travel Made Easy | 2 BRT corridors connecting Dwarka to IGI and Dwarka to Bijwasan have been proposed that’ll cover the maximum number of sectors. The connectivity between Gurgaon and Dwarka will also improve through a special corridor, BRT or a light rail transit. DDA will make sure that this new BRT doesn’t end up like Delhi’s first BRT connecting Ambedkar Nagar and Moolchand, that caused major traffic snarls.

The bus frequency will also be improved, bus routes will be rationalised, and a number of road intersections in Dwarka will be renovated for a smoother flow of traffic.

Well, we hope the necessary changes are made at the earliest!
