A Beautiful Play Entitled 'Chand Roz Aur Meri Jaan' is On @ Epicentre Gurgaon Tomorrow

Wings Cultural Society presents a play called ‘Chand Roz Aur Meri Jaan’ at Epicentre Gurgaon tomorrow. This play is directed by Salima Raza, based on letters exchanged between Faiz Ahmed Faiz and his wife Alys.

This play is about a couple who were separated by prison lines in Pakistan during 1951-55. It’s about how Faiz created the most beautiful poems expressing love for his wife, Alys. The letters also showcase the various facets of humanism. ‘Chand Roz Aur Meri Jaan’ is a performance based on these letters that symbolises our hopes and aspirations. 

The cast includes Salma Raza herself and Banwari Taneja. Both great actors who are sure to cast a spell on the crowd with their poetry. This play is in Hindi and Urdu, and what’s better than Urdu poetry? See you there for a dose of culture!
