Satya Niketan is an area loved by foodies like us owing to the sprawling number of eateries it’s crowded with. But since we love to do things a li’l hatke, we’ve picked a few cafes that not only serve scrummy food but have a pretty and quirky ambience that makes them a total win-win for us. Check out the list and try them out for yourself!
1. FrenZone Restaurant
FrenZone’s got some cool travel theme decor for there are murals of the most famous attractions of various countries like the London Eye, Golden Gate Bridge, the White House and lots more painted on the walls. They also have tables that have the Union Jack printed on them. Talking about the food, we absolutely love their Chilli Garlic Noodles with Stir Fried Vegetables and say you give it a shot ASAP!
2. 2 Bandits
If you like colours as much as we do, then 2 Bandits will surely make you jump in joy. The place has super vibrant cushions and swing-style seating (yay!) for you to have a great time with your buds. Also, they have this tree kinda structure on one of their walls that screams for all your attention. So, head here and capture this beautiful place for your next Insta update!
3. Pirates Of Campus
If your last lecture was boring AF, then all you gotta do is head straight to Pirates Of Campus ‘cause their lively ambience is perfect to rejuvenate you. The place has got neon colour lights, and an ocean map on one of their walls, that’ll make for just the right background for your next selfie. And to add a little more quirk factor, they whip up some drool-worthy fried ice creams, that are absolutely yum!
4. Rude Dude
For starters, we totes love the name because it’s super cool. And they’re truly living up to it as these guys have a unique concept which they like to call the ‘Street Fashion Bistro’ and it includes quirky dishes along with classy apparels (OMG!), all under one roof. So, if food and shopping are your best buds, then scamper to this place to gorge on some toothsome Kurkure Wontons while splurging through their pretty dresses!
5. It’s A South Delhi Cafe
Yes, another cafe with a cool name, It’s A South Delhi Cafe should be on your to-check-out list fosho. The place is filled with quirky wall art and we love the Charlie Chaplin painting on the washroom door. The place has pretty lights that sets you in the right mood to gorge on their yummy smoked Chicken Burger!
6. The Construction Co. Cafe
The Construction Co. Cafe is a multi-cuisine restaurant that has a rustic construction site theme and is all things amazing! The place has super quirky decor with brick walls, chained lights, drums hanging from the ceiling and wooden interiors, all of which make the cafe look like an erection site. How cool is that? And since we can’t miss out on talking about food, we love slurping on their The Red Velvet monster freakshake that comes loaded with red velvet pastry, strawberry sauce and tons of shooting stars sprinkles. Grab your glass right away!
7. Rustic Cafe
Just like the name suggests, this joint has those perfect rustic, quirky and pleasing interiors, all done in wood. One of the walls is even covered in black and white wall art with funny quotes on music, food and more. Plus, once you’re done admiring the place, you can indulge in their refreshing mocktails like the delish looking Pomegranate Punch!
Isn’t the name quite relatable? It definitely is for us ‘cause the last bench in the classrooms was like a second home to us. And in case you too have been a backbencher since your good old school days and have completely ignored your art classes, then this place will defo teach you all about colours as they’ve probably used all the shades from the palette for their interiors. Step into this place and you’ll feel like you’re in the belly of a rainbow, no kidding!
9. Nature Hut Cafe
If nature is your first love and city life keeps you away from it, then a visit to this cafe will equal to you stepping into your dream world. The ambience, interiors, murals and even the furnishing of this place will remind you of the wilderness. Once here, you should defo try their Tandoori Momos and we know, one bite and you’ll fall in love with them!
