Indian web shows have been upping their game and blowing our minds away with some legit awesome stories. We especially love the ones that keep us on the edge of our seats throughout the series and well, aren’t too long! It’s not always that we wanna commit to a show which has multiple seasons and hour-long episodes. Well, for just those times, here we have compiled a list of some short Indian shows that can be binge-watched in a go!

1. Bose: Dead/Alive

Based on Anuj Dhar’s book, India’s Biggest Cover-Up, Bose: Dead/Alive is about the mysterious disappearance or apparent death of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the plane crash in Formosa. His death opens Pandora's box of conspiracy theories, and the show explores Bose’s life and greatness. Portrayed brilliantly by Rajkumar Rao, this 9-episode drama miniseries has a cliffhanger at the end of each episode and is extremely binge-worthy. With each episode having a duration of around 20 mins, you can easily finish it in a day, so watch now!

TVF has always kept us super busy with a range of awesome AF shows that are highly bingeable and, well, we love them all! But today we are talking about TVF Pitchers, the storyline of which goes something like this ‘four guys quit their jobs to start their own company. It’s not as easy as it sounds’ - eep! The relatable story and the quirky dialogue ‘tu beer hai’ has stayed with us all these years, along with its breezy and comic storytelling. Time for a rewatch?

3. Ghoul

Ghoul has all the elements of a great show - a dystopian future, and a horror/thriller storyline. This chilling and brave show is about a totalitarian state, set in the future, where a mysterious prisoner at a remote interrogation centre turns the tables by unleashing a demon and exposing the most shameful secrets of his captors. And honestly, they had us hooked right at the totalitarian future society! Since it was originally supposed to be a feature film, this miniseries has just 3 episodes and the total runtime is only 135 minutes. Binge-watch right away!

4. Typewriter

Created by Sujoy Ghosh, who also directed Vidya Balan’s superhit film Kahaani, Typewriter is a series with 5 episodes of around 40-50 minutes. The genre is horror/thriller, and the plot revolves around three young friends who plan to search an old villa for ghosts. But, a new family moves in and the home’s chilling past starts to resurface! The show is worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of horror.

Touted to be one of the best shows of 2020, Scam 1992 is one of the good things to come out of that year. It’s set in the 1980s & 90s in Bombay and follows the life of Harshad Mehta, the ‘raging bull’ who along with other stockbrokers committed the 1992 Indian stock market scam, taking the stock market to dizzying heights and his catastrophic downfall!

The stories themselves are unique and intriguing, and y’all should defo watch!

9. Feels Like Ishq

Another anthology on the list, (and the last one, we promise!) Feels Like Ishq recently aired on Netflix and we literally binge-watched it in a day! The reason it deserves a place on this list is its simplicity! The short stories are all cute AF, and it’s a great casual watch whose cheesiness will leave a smile on your face. For the love of all things cheesy, and also some great performances by Radhika Madan, Amol Parashar, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Simran Jehani, Saba Azad, Rohit Saraf among others, Feels Like Ishq can definitely be added to your chill watches, to be watched away in a single day!
