The show transmutes us back to the time and takes us through the journey of  Dr Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai as they were busy shaping some of the biggest inventions for mankind. It’s worth mentioning that unveiling the lives and the achievements of legendary Indian scientists is a concept that many mainstream movies & shows have barely touched yet, and Rocket Boys is definitely the 1st step in the right direction. The show is easy, breezy and absolutely well made, and we love this masterclass in India’s scientific history. 

3. Performances By Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh Were Truly Brilliant

Both Jim Sarbh and Ishwark are brilliant actors who really don’t need an introduction to their skillset. They have continued their record of iconic performances and truly delivered rightful justice to the characters assigned to them. 4. We Totally Dig The Friendship Of The 2 Young Minds

Both Jim and Ishwak used every muscle in their bodies to bring the legendary scientist Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai on screen. And, not to mention how beautifully the entire story unveils the heartwarming friendship of two young minds that just melt your heart and give you goosebumps at the same time. They slowly go from teacher-student, mentor-mentee to life-long friends, and that journey is a treat to watch. 

5. Young Kalam Totally Blew Us Away

APJ Abdul Kalam was an iconic personality who is loved and admired by each and every Indian citizen. And, this show casts an even closer light on his heartwarming and strong personality from his early youth that will truly move your heart.  From adding his rejections on his resume to later rejecting a prestigious institution himself  - his will, determination and calmness made us smile throughout. He was the one with quick thinking and ‘jugaadu’ solutions that played an instrumental role in the success of the ‘rocket boys.’ Every scene showcases his witty and awesome personality and we love it!

6. Subtle Yet Patriotric: Doesn’t Scream Speeches But Fills Up Your Heart

There are two kinds of patriotic movies and series. The first ones are the kinds that scream they’re patriotic right from the start and the second ones are those that have these little moments where the unbounded love for the country is just, visible. In short, the story will at no point bore or overwhelm you, even though it talks about India’s greatest scientists, the science part will never be ‘too much.’
