2. Duke Of Hastings From Bridgerton

Duke Of Hastings played by Regé-Jean Page will often remind you of Mr. Darcy. Maybe because he is also tall, dark, prideful, chivalrous (most of the time) and, well, handsome. But the reason why he’s got our hearts racing is the fact he is not just all about looks. This character is flawed by the demons of his past that continue to plague his present. Jack Pearson portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia is possibly one of the most perfect characters ever. But what makes him this ideal persona is not because he is without flaws but because you see him through the eyes of his family, for whom he is a hero. A devoted family man who loves his girl dearly has had us going aww and crying buckets full of tears in all the emotional scenes. He does have flaws, we all do, but those don’t define who he is and definitely doesn’t make him someone unlikable, just more human.

Phil Dunphy brought to life by Ty Burrell is a lovable character, and you can call him a devoted family man. He is awkward, funny and loves his family to the moon and back and again! But there is one major flaw in him, he tries too hard. Often seen as a people pleaser, you will see him trying to impress others. But honestly, this just makes him a little more real in our eyes. He is a human at the end of the day, he has his flaws but they don’t overrule all the good characteristics he has to offer!

Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries comes across as a typical bad boy, one who’s selfish and seems like someone who’d have no redeeming qualities. But as the seasons’ progress, you get to see a side of him that will call to your heart. His character arch is one of the most satisfying ones and even though he comes across as an arrogant man, in the beginning, the glimpse of a little broken boy afraid to trust is enough to make you weak in the knees.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is without any doubt one of the greatest comedy shows in recent years, and it’s the kind of show one would revisit just because they’re having a bad day. Our hero, Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg is a brilliant detective however, there’s one major drawback in him. You can rarely find him serious, and this makes him immature. Geralt of Rivia played by our bae Henry Cavill is going to steal your hearts with his dashing looks. But we’re practically in love with him because of the kind of character he plays in this fantasy show. He is complex and has several layers to his outwardly cynical self. On the first look, he is rude and maybe even pragmatic, but you need to realise that life hasn’t been kind to him. And so it’s almost a defence mechanism, but it’s an undeniable fact that despite his belief, he is always there to help and save people, even if they’re disrespectful to him. This makes him an imperfectly perfect hero in our eyes, to say the least!
