Madras Coffee House was first started as a Chinese restaurant in 1935 and got to be known by its current name much later with the menu and recipes leaning more towards south Indian cuisine changed, since 1958. Though the place has seen better days in the past and was considered to be the favourite haunt of the Britishers, it has fallen into a dilapidated state. Check out the place only for its sheer history and maybe a nice cup of filter coffee.
