1. Pandit Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan Paranthe Wale (Since 1872)

Prolly the oldest restaurant in town, this super iconic place located in the legendary Paranthe Wali Gali in Old Delhi is our go-to for when our inner Punjabi needs to be fed those lip-smacking parathas. Legit drowned in desi ghee and served with two kinds of aloo sabzi, we just wanna say this one thing to our calorie-conscious friends - YOLO, fellas! Trust us, you shouldn’t miss out on this amazeballs place ‘cause c’mon, there’s a rock-solid reason why these guys are famous even after 148 years *woah*!

Nothing beats the summer heat like a bowl of good ol’ kheer and when it’s from Old Kheer Shop, it’s even better! In fact, better is an understatement. We cannot even begin to describe the creamy texture of the Kheer served here, which has the goodness of nuts, that too made in the same pot that’s been around for ages. These guys prepare only a limited quantity for the day, so make sure you get in there before they run out, folks!

This one especially goes out to our sweet tooth buddies who are forever craving all things dessert. The ingredients they put into their sugar syrup & Jalebis are kept secret, known only within the family *Oooo*. Stuffed fruit kulfi? YES, PLEASE! This gem is one of the most unique kulfi places in saadi Dilli that does mouth-watering Fruit Kulfis, but wait, hear us out, they’re legit fruit-based kulfis y’all - made using fruit pulp and then stuffed inside the fruit itself, if you haven’t tried their Gulab & Orange Kulfi amongst other supremely delish desserts, you should defo do so now! Currently, it’s the fourth generation that’s helming this legendary place and we’re already on our way over for our share! How about you?!

We can stuff our faces with their heavenly Matar Kachori from ‘shyam’ to ‘savera’ ‘cause they’re so-oh good! Their savoury items and sweet dishes are totes at par with each other and you can completely gorge on an entire, wholesome meal at this one-stop-shop. Can’t resist this one now, can you? A Dilliwala is not a proper Dilliwala if they haven’t eaten the succulent & spicy mutton and chicken dishes from Karim’s, which offers, hands down, the best non-veg food one can find anywhere. The OG of authentic Mughlai delicacies, this place is a meat lover’s fantasy come true and we can’t emphasize this enough - their Mutton Burra, Mutton Nihari & Chicken Jahangir are just LIT AF, so make sure you gobble them up when you’re here next!

The unending love we have for Lotan Chole Kulche is beyond anyone’s comprehension *chole kulche gang unite!*. They’ve been dishing out literal flavour bombs for over a century and we couldn't be more glad.
