You all must have heard about or seen the popular Netflix fantasy series, The Witcher. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is an animated movie that serves as the origin story of Vesemir. It’s the story of Vesemir escaping from poverty to become a witcher. All in all, it’s a film with superb storytelling, full of twists and dilemmas, and spectacular action scenes as well, making it the perfect weekend watch.

2. Parasite

It’s a black comedy/thriller film, following the struggling Kim family, who play out a plan to secure jobs for themselves in a wealthy household which unleashes a series of unexpected events. Hmm! 4. The Big Sick

The Big Sick is our fave kinda weekend watch, it’s a rom-com! That too with a 98% Rotten Tomatoes score. The film is about a Pakistani comic who falls in love with an American graduate student, Emily. Their cultures clash and as a consequence of a mysterious illness that puts Emily in a coma, Kumail develops a deep bond with her parents. The film is funny and heartfelt, and y’all should watch it already!

5. Inside Out

Y’all must have already seen Inside Out, but, even then, this cute animation film deserves multiple rewatches. A film that you will thoroughly enjoy watching with your kids, it’s an ideal way to spend some time on the weekend. The story follows young Riley who’s uprooted from her old life as she moves to a new town with her family. The twist here is- the film talks about the emotional rollercoaster in her head, from the POV of her 5 emotions- anger, disgust, sadness, joy, and fear! Watch this fun ride of a film right away!

6. Portrait Of A Lady On Fire

Portrait Of A Lady On Fire is a film set in 1770, France. The story is about a female painter, who is commissioned to paint the wedding portrait of the daughter of a French countess. The two ladies then gradually develop a mutual attraction towards each other, and the story follows their gentle yet painful romance. 7. Black Panther

MCU fans need no introduction to this film, and also no excuse to watch it again. To those of you who haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing out! It follows the story of T’Challa, who after the death of his father returns to Wakanda, to take his place as the king. But he’s faced with treachery and danger, and you’ll have to watch to find out more! Wakanda forever!
