 1. Dakshinayan Durga Puja

Dakshinayan has been celebrating a grand Durga Puja for the past 18 years inside the society complex of Dakshinayan Apartments. The Dakshinayan Durga Puja committee successfully organises the puja every year with a divine and elegant theme for the pandal which leaves all those who come to bow their heads to Maa Durga in awe, every single time! One part of the festival grounds is reserved to host the stunning idol of Durga Maa, the other has small stalls for homegrown shops and food, and one side has continuous cultural programs.

2. Aikotaan Durga Puja Park

Aikotaan Park Puja has an extraordinarily enormous selection of food stalls ranging from drool-worthy authentic Bengali food and sweets to Mughlai and north Indian food. You got your own little C.R. Park food heaven in the nook of Dwarka. Every year they have a huge idol of Durga Maa, which makes you stop and look in wonder at the beautiful idol. It’s the best feeling, so drop by to experience it for yourselves!

3. Dwarka Bangiya Samaj

Some of the most famous artists come to the Dwarka Bangiya Samaj during Durga Puja to perform, such as Kailash Kher, Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, and many more. It gets very difficult to get into the pandal as everyone wants to get a glimpse of them but the festivities are so grand that you would find people talking about the puja for weeks on end. Keep an eye out for this gorgeous pandal and plan your evenings accordingly!

4. Sarbojanin Puja Samity

The Sarbojanin Puja Samity is a small yet hearty Bengali residential area that lights up during the puja festivity. Every year, the Durga Maa idols here look truly exquisite and you feel like you’re staring into endless serenity if you meet the eyes of the Durga idol. Last year, the samity celebrated its Silver Jubilee amid COVID protocol and they even make sure that all their idols are eco-friendly, keeping the environment in mind. There are no bhog restrictions here so drop by and be a part of the celebration!

5. Dwarka Kalibari

Dwarka Kalibari Durga puja is known for its homely nature of honouring Durga maa during the puja. The bhog here is very tasty, but if you are an outsider, you’ll have to miss out on it as only certified and subscribed Dwarka Kalibari peeps are allowed to have access to the bhog. So get ready to hunt down that subscribed Dwarka Kalibari friend and enjoy the yummy bhog for lunch with them. Do drop by and offer your prayers and seek the blessings of Goddess Durga at the pandal!!

6. Durga Puja Park

The humongous carpet area for this puja is more than enough to attend puja festivities at a calmer pace. They make intricately stunning, eco-friendly and theme-based Durga idols that match with the pandals.
