Momos are synonymous with Delhi’s street food nowadays and are available on almost every nook and corner, street and market of the city! So keeping this never-ending love in mind, we went out on the streets of our very own Hudson Lane to try and eat different renditions of our favourite street food. Served steamed, fried, roasted, dry and with gravy, we found it all here! These are the places we tried and here’s what we think!

1. QDs Restaurant

The first name that comes to our heads when someone says ‘tandoori momos’ is without a doubt - QDs. A pocket-friendly restaurant with funky decor and super chill vibes, QDs is a favourite amongst students for a casual hangout sesh. We tried their super popular Tandoori Momos and weren’t disappointed at all! These momos are totally worth the hype. Perfectly roasted in a tandoor with yummy fillings and served with mayo and chilli-garlic sauce, the presentation of these momos were on fleek. You can also opt for their Chicken Tandoori Momos or go for the fried and steamed options.

We’ve been waiting to try out the oh-so-popular kurkure momos at Stack 9, a small joint hidden in Hudson Lane. This place won’t burn a hole in your wallet and has a great variety of options to choose from. Their Kurkure Momos had a crunchy outer layer and tasty filling, presented with the evergreen garlic-chilli sauce and a jalapeno cheese dip. You could also go for their Punjabi Tadka, Cocktail or Cheesy Momos, which are available in vegetarian, paneer and chicken variants. Come swing by for your plateful!

You just can’t compile a list of the best places to have momos without ‘Chalte Firte’ in it. So, we decided to pay it a visit and ended up ordering a plate of Afghani Chicken Momos with Gravy. The chicken filling was yummy and had the perfect texture to complement the gravy. By the end of these, our tummies were completely filled but the flavours left us wanting more. They have a huge assortment of momos in all forms, so don’t forget to give the others a try too!

This one’s a Chinese place located near the GTB Nagar Metro Station. The place does an insane variety of veg and non-veg appetizers with options like Chicken Salt & Pepper, Fish Chilli, Tandoori Soya Chaap and loads more. But since momos are bae, we’re itching to try their Masala,  Paneer & Fried Momos. You can also try their Tandoori and Honey Chilli Toss Momos for some added zest!
