
52 Teams Will Be Deployed To Control Air Pollution During The 'Clean Air Week' Till 5th Nov.
We Delhizens are pretty worried about the ever-deteriorating air quality in the city. And with Diwali just around the corner, we’re already dreading the smog that’s gonna blanket Delhi pretty soon. But amidst all this panic, the Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has a temporary solution. Keep reading for more!
What’s Up? | The Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has decided to organise a ‘Clean Air Week’ from the 1st to the 5th of November in collaboration with the Delhi Government in a bid to control air pollution. 52 teams have between formed for this very reason, which are going to to try and maintain the pollution levels in the city.
The Supreme Court has already laid out restrictions for the use of firecrackers during Diwali. We can only burn environment-friendly ‘green’ crackers between 8 to 10 PM on Diwali. And now, these 52 teams will help ensure that no further pollution is caused anywhere in the city.
Well, we really hope that these measures are able to help combat the alarming pollution levels in the city!
