500+ Teams Have Been Set Up In GGN For Door-To-Door Screening Of Approx. 25 Lakh People

Gurugram launched door-to-door screening on Wednesday, the 8th of April after Noida to conduct the survey of people and to break the chain in cluster areas. Here’s all the information you need about it.

Massive Survey In GGN | The teams in Gurugram will cover approx. 25 lakh people in the city. People with flu-like symptoms and those with travel history will be investigated under this massive operation. Around 203 teams for the rural area and 500 teams for the urban areas have been formed who will visit door-to-door to conduct this survey.

3 committees under zonal, sector and units have been formed who will supervise this massive exercise. The gram panchayat level team will be supervised by 20 sector committees. Similarly, 4 zonal committees have been formed for the rural areas. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and the local councillors will conduct this survey in urban areas but they will be accompanied by panchayats in rural areas where they will also be collecting information regarding the requirements of food and other essentials.

The authorities are trying to identify areas with positive COVID-19 cases where they will also conduct rapid antibody tests to ensure that the chain is broken!
