We went looking for something resuscitating, when we were advised for their peach variant of lemon ice tea which defibrillated us with energy and made us fall in love with this version almost instantly. Fresh mint leaves were crushed along with lemon slices before filling the tumbler partially with unflavored soda, quarter with cold water and the remaining quarter with ice cubes and finally pouring peach syrup along with a zest of sugar syrup and stirred well. The citrus nature of the peach was slightly felt in almost every sip making this drink worth every penny spent and palpably a perfect combination with our meal.

2. Chicken Momos At Teasta, The Tea Shop

Marking its presence since 1996 and the shop that literally named this market, definitely sells the finest and best non-veg variant of our beloved momos. Teasta has kept a simple menu and believes in serving the best piece possible. Momos, served with a spicy chutney and mayo, were astounding and had a filling of minced chicken along with shredded onion and apt spices. Since the momos were steamed in small lots, almost every order was a plate of freshly steamed scads. Their demand is more than the supply and it becomes hard to get hands on these pieces from heaven in the wee hours of the day!

3. Ride Shotgun Burger At Serve

We, being burger fanatics, scavenged for the unsurpassable variant when we bumped into this cutesy lil shop tucked in the corner and ordered their “must-haves”. The most striking feature of this burger was *wait for it* home-made green buns!! The green color was owing to mint and oregano which gave the buns a distinct taste altogether. Between the buns was tucked a ginormous chicken breast which was coated with Cheetos spices carrying a tantalizing flavor along with caramelized cucumbers, jalapenos, pickles, loaded with American cheese and honey mustard, which gave a sweet and sour taste to the burger overall. Served with peri peri zig-zag fries, the prima facie view of this had us drooling all over!

4. Dark Sins Ice-cream At Serve

The European influence in the form of gothic edible food can be seen vividly nowadays but the same was pioneered in Noida by this outlet serving gothic ice-cream under the tag of Dark Sins. Though missing out on this item would actually be a sin where they prepare the ice-cream right in front of you and garnish the same with munchini, toffee sprinklers, Nutella and a hint of chocolate sauce! The best part being the sugar content is controlled and the ice-cream is fluffy, airy and has a certain after-taste that lingers on the palate for long satiating the taste buds to the core.

5. Waffles At Waffles & Crepes

Nothing curbs the sweet cravings better than waffles and there is literally no other place that serves waffles better than this one. They even let you curate your own version of waffle right from the scratch and that is exactly what we went for. Oreo base, Nutella layer, a dollop of cookie and cream ice-cream and finally garnishing with Choco-chips, milky Choco-chips and gems is what we devised. The chef did not shy away from using the ingredients in prodigious amounts which made the taste of every ingredient hard to miss. The creamy and chocolaty feeling of Oreo and Nutella combined with crunchiness of gems and Choco-chips with a hint of ice-cream in every bite had us all zoned out in a different world altogether!

You can’t be a true Dilliwala if your mouth doesn't start salivating by the mere thought of hot piping momos. And, believe us when we say nobody got better momos than Hunger Strike in all of Noida.
