The East Delhi Municipal Corporation has just the solution for all you shopaholics living in East Delhi. Creation of parking lots at the sprawling markets of this area has now been planned, which will not only ease the congestion of roads but will also let you shop in peace. 

Parking Our Woes Away | So, the word is that 5 multilevel parking lots at Apsara Border, Preet Vihar (Aditya Arcade), Babarpur Road, Pushta road and Nand Nagri are in the works and are expected to be completed by March 2021 to decongest areas around Gandhi Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Krishna Nagar and Nand Nagri markets. These are the most overcrowded areas for people living in East Delhi and now with this move, all of us shoppers can take a sigh of relief!

The parking spaces at Apsara Border and Preet Vihar will be developed on a public-private-partnership basis, while the other three on the engineering, procurement and construction model. The decision is supposed to reduce congestion on roads and meet the increasing demands.
