1. Milestone

Coming to Netflix this year, Milestone follows the story of a newly bereaved truck driver who’s completed 5,00,000 kilometres on the road facing the threat of losing his job to an apprentice. An independent drama film from the director of Soni, this film looks promising. We’re in awe of the trailer, which is not like any other movie. Make sure to watch this one on the same day itself!

2. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

Though it’s releasing in the theatres, it's also exclusively releasing online on Zee5. Staying true to his annual Eid tradition, this Salman Khan starrer follows the classic over-the-top action that we’ve come to adore. Radhe is a cop with a very quirky way of working, and he is assigned to bust the drug racket in the city. Watch him take down goons and sweep the city clean of gangsters and pursue the love of his life! We know what we’re going to be streaming on Eid this year.

3. Alma Matters: Inside The IIT Dream

A docuseries releasing on Netflix, Alma Matters features well-known comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath. The series explores what it takes to get into India’s premier engineering college, IIT, and what it is to survive in a high-pressure environment. We’re definitely intrigued by the premise of the show because let’s face it, we’ve all been kinda curious about life at an IIT.

4. Sardar Ka Grandson

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you could actually shift your entire house (ceiling and floors intact) to a new location? Well, that’s exactly what the plot of the movie Sardar Ka Grandson revolves around. The story follows a devoted grandson AKA Arjun Kapoor in his quest to reunite his grandmother to her ancestral home in a cross-border move. The trailer looks comical with an equal dose of drama and we’re totally pumped to give it a watch on Netflix!

5. Toofaan

Releasing on Amazon Prime Video, this movie stars Farhan Akhtar who plays the role of a boxer. This sports drama will make you want to follow your dreams and attain success. Though it’s just the teaser that’s out at the time of writing this article, it definitely looks like something worth a watch. We’re especially waiting for this as we’re still in awe of the spectacular performance delivered by Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which was a sports biopic!
