This expressway will have a major impact on the logistics between the two cities and the work has been done on some stretches as well. The 8 lane expressway will have a provision of expansion to upto 12 lanes to meet traffic needs of the future. If you’re travelling to Jaipur from Delhi, you can save about 1.6 hours as compared to the existing Jaipur highway link.

43 interchanges at intersections will be built along with connectivity to major towns. The expressway will also house restaurants, dormitories, fuel stations and more. 3 animal underpasses with 5 underground stretches will be built so that that no harm is done to the Mukundra Hills wildlife. Many stringent steps will be taken and a boundary wall of 8 metres will be constructed along the wildlife section. This project will generate employment that will ensure economic development.
