21 Stations On Delhi Metro's Oldest Line May Get A New Makeover, You Guys
Delhi Metro’s oldest line is all set for a makeover and we can’t wait to see what all cool new things DMRC has up its sleeves - keep scrolling for all the info!
The Red Line’s Getting A Facelift | Delhi’s first ever metro line - the Red Line - stretching from Rithala to Dilshad Garden may get a makeover and we’re really excited about this one! The renovation work shall begin from Mansarovar, Jhilmil and Dilshad Garden stations and is expected to be completed by March 2020, with the rest of the stations being worked on in phases. This is the first time that all the stations on a metro line are undergoing a makeover.
The stations will get a fresh coat of paint and a new colour theme plus the ground floors of the stations will get granite floors and the platforms will be polished.
DMRC will also work on the maintenance of the outer area of these stations which will include beautification of the parking areas, footpaths, installation of LED lights and more.
