12 Restaurants & Cafes In Delhi That Are Now Open For Dine-In

It’s been a long time for a lot of us who haven’t stepped outside to grab a quick dinner, been on a romantic date or maybe even a joyful brunch with besties. Scrolling through our old photos, we couldn’t help but think which of our fave cafes or restaurants are open in the city and so we did a lil research and made a list of restaurants that have opened up again while taking all the safety measures into consideration. Let’s check ‘em out, shall we?!

1. The Big Chill Cafe

This is probably every Delhiite’s fave hangout spot in the city. This place is for all those first-time dates, gossip sesh with friends or spending some quality time with the fam-jam over a mouth-watering fare. Their outlets in Kailash Colony and Khan Market are open for dining. So if you plan to pay ‘em a visit, make sure to devour scrummies like Mississippi Mud Pie, Penne Alla Vodka, Pizza Rolls and LOADS more.

2. AMA Cafe

The insanely famous AMA Cafe is now open for dine-in and even for delivery (for the first time ever). This quaint cafe in Majnu Ka Tilla has always been our go-to place for some gossip over brekkie. They’re known for serving scrumptious dishes like Pancakes With Butter & Honey, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, The Spicy Chicken Pizza, The Juicy Chicken Burger and more.

3. YUM YUM CHA - A Pan Asian Bistro

YUM YUM CHA - A Pan Asian Bistro has made its mark in our hearts with its artfully crafted and flavourful sushis. And we’re glad that this place is also open for business. Abiding by all the necessary safety protocols, you can grab some delish options in sushi such as California Roll, Dynamite, Asparagus Tempura and LOADS more. They also do fluffy Open Baos and zesty Cheung Fun.

4. Cafe Delhi Heights

Home to the insanely famous Juicy Lucy Burger, this place has also flung its doors open at some locations, namely - Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden, Khan Market & Sangam Courtyard. They’re taking all the precautionary measures and will accept the last order till 7:45 PM. These folks will serve you with some popular dishes such as Crispy Falafel Rolls, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Stir-Fried Noodles In Black Bean Sauce, ISBT Makhni Maggi and TONS of other options.

The O.G. name for rolls and kebabs, this legendary restaurant is now open while adhering to the new norms. Their outlets in Khan Market, CP, Saket & Galleria (Gurugram) are now open for dine-in and they accept last order at 9:50 PM. Known for serving juicy kebabs, we especially love Malai Chicken Tikka, Mutton Kakori Roll and Chicken Tikka Rolls, amongst plenty of more options.

6. Leo’s Pizzeria

If you love pizzas then you’ll be pleased to know that this cafe is also open. They’re known for artisanal, wood-fired pizzas which will defo take you to the lanes of Italy. So, if you’re planning to land up here, check out their revised menu which includes Grana-E-Rucola Pizza, Classic Pepperoni Pizza, Focaccia and Chocolate Pudding, to name a delish few. They accept their last order at 8:30 PM, so make plans accordingly!

7. Yeti The Himalayan Kitchen

Home to flavourful Nepali and Tibetan dishes, these folks have also opened their doors (again)! So, if you plan to step out and treat yourself to some of good ol’ Tibetan food, make sure to try dishes like Thakali Thali, Kothe Momos, Suktu Sadeko, Thukpa and LOTS more from their insane variety.

8. Cafe Dori

An extension of the well-known brand Nappa Dori, their outlet in Basant Lok is functional and we can’t wait to fix ourselves with some droolworthy brekkie. Apart from mind-blowing and decadent hot chocolates, this elegant cafe is also known for whipping up yummylicious dishes such as Chocolate Croissant, Caprese Sandwich and Mushroom Melt Sandwich, to name a few delectable options!

9. Nando’s

These folks are known for their spicy Peri Peri Chicken and they are open once again to ensure that we get our fill.  They are presently open at only two locations - Punjabi Bagh and CP, and we can already sniff the flavourful aromas of grilled veggies. Their impressive menu comprises Peri Peri Chicken, Veg Pita, Chicken Butterfly and Chicken Espadata, to name a select few savoury options.

10. Qla

It’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to visit the glorious monuments in the city. So, if you’re planning to step out for a solo date, why not head over to Qla which is a gorgeous restaurant right opposite, Qutub Minar?! Yep, they are now open for dine-in and you can order up scrumptious-looking dishes like Mushroom Tartar, Prawn Gambas, Baby Lamb & Mint Burger and Four Cheese Pizza, to name select few options! Psst... They are closed on Tuesdays and accept the last order at 7:45 PM.

Punjab Grill is an insanely famous place that’s known for dishing out some great North Indian meals. For now, they have opened their outlets in Noida, Janpath and Khan Market while abiding by all the social distancing norms. Their cream Chicken Malai Tikka, Juicy Tandoori Jheenga and flavourful slow cooked Goat Curry, are just a few examples of some great options available over here. They take in the last guest by 8:30 PM for the moment, so you might want to plan accordingly.
