Lucifer released its latest season 5B on Netflix on the 28th of May and it has been in the top charts ever since. The newest instalment was one of the most awaited ones and this sets the background for the 6th and also the final season of the popular series. Staying true to the Lucifer fashion, the show in its latest part had a bunch of major ‘oh my God moments’ that had us screaming and so, we have made a list of all the jaw-dropping scenes from this part that had us completely shook. 1. When The Powers Of The Universe’s Creator Starts Glitching

Honestly, we can hardly imagine the powers of God glitching in the real world but this actually happens in this season of the popular show. Yes, after the most awaited entry of God A.K.A. Lucifer and Amenadiel’s dad, we see that his powers have started to glitch, and we really weren't expecting that!

2. When God Decided To Retire

This was another moment when we couldn't pick up our jaws that had dropped on the floor (not literally)! God decides that he doesn't want to rule over his creations anymore and that he has grown too old to continue. So, he announces that it's high time he retires and someone takes over his duties!

3. When Eve And Maze Confess They Love Each Other

Ever since Mazikeen confessed to Eve that she loved her in the previous season, we had secretly or maybe not so secretly been rooting for them. And this finally happens in this part when Eve and Maze confess that they do feel something powerful for each other and that they would want to give their relationship a try! *Awww*

4. When Lucifer Decides To Takeover God’s Job

We weren‘t shocked that Amanediel wants to take over the responsibility of God but wait for it, Lucifer decides that he is the perfect candidate who deserves to sit on the throne! And as predicted, chaos takes place and we couldn't be more excited about this development. 

5. God Hosts A Retirement Barbeque Party

Well, it was quite a surprise to see that God decided to host a retirement barbeque party after he asked his sons to keep it a secret. Another reason is that it made him all the more human and sorta even a typical American dad who’d host lunch with his children while entering a new phase of his life. Unexpected, right?!

6. When God Meets His Wife (And He Decides To Go Live In Her Universe)

To be honest, we were really waiting for this EPIC meet up and boy, it did not let us down! However, we really did not expect that he would actually renounce his duty in the universe and go to live into the one created by his wife. At least, that certainly turned out well for them.

7. When Michael Steals The Azrael Blade

So while Lucifer was trying to reunite God with his wife, it was quite a shocker that Michael had a subplot of trying to steal the Azrael Blade all along! And yes, we were absolutely screaming our lungs out at the screen when we realise that Michael succeeded in his plan.

8. Dan Getting Shot

This was probably one of the most shocking scenes in the entire history of the series. We had come to love Dan and his character arc is one of the most satisfying ones in the show. But when he got shot let's just say our heart broke.

9. When Chloe Dies And Goes To Heaven

Yes, that happened and we could not stop the tears streaming down our face. Chloe dies and goes to heaven and that was one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the entire show because we have come to adore this boss lady who calls out people when they’re wrong. Whether it’s celestials or humans!

10. When Heaven And Hell Go To Fight, Literally

We have to admit, this was one of the most nerve-wracking scenes in the entire show. The forces of Hell led by Mazikeen and Heaven by Michael get into a fight in order to decide who becomes the new God. Though we weren’t surprised by the subtle reference to the age-old war, it was surely an exciting moment all the same!

11. When Lucifer Burns But Comes Back To Life

This was kinda bound to happen, Chloe dies and goes to heaven, so it was obvious Lucifer wouldn’t sit aside. And so, he follows her and because he’s been banished he dies before saving her but he comes back! Yep, it was one helluva emotional roller coaster ride.  

12. When Lucifer Becomes God

The season finally ends with Lucifer taking over the throne of God and a couple of other mind-blowing developments that haven’t been mentioned here. But damn! Was this season super intense? We're definitely still not over it.
