We’re always online and can’t do away without updating the latest developments in our lives. Though, sometimes poor connectivity issues or no data makes it difficult for us to access the internet. But this is about to change as you will now get FREE WiFi in these areas of Delhi by December end!
All Aboard The WiFi Train | The buzz is that the Public Works Department (PWD) will finally start the installations of WiFi devices in various areas of the city and this means that free WiFi will be available at 11,000 spots as the budget for it has finally been approved. Every individual will get upto 15 GB data at these spots which include popular parks, major markets and even bus stops!
Every person’s phone number will have a single account and if they’re near 50-60 metres of a WiFi they’ll be able to access the internet. This initiative aims to lessen the digital gap and provide assistance in education, employment and even business! So, all those people who previously didn’t have access to the internet will now be able to browse seamlessly.
The deadline for this project is 31st December of this year. The cool thing about this project is that you’ll need to log in just once and up to 150 people can use a single WiFi in one go.
Are you excited about a free and faster WiFi network?
