The dim lights and peeling walls might indicate otherwise, but Moti Mahal is a living legend. The place has been offering delicious and timeless Indian cuisine since approximately 1947. Still in the same location, the quality of their offerings remains top-notch. The dream of every chicken lover, Butter Chicken itself might have been birthed at this very place!

Tucked within the hustle and bustle of Karol Bagh is a small and coveted shop, which is a legend when it comes to street food delicacies. Roshan Di Kulfi’s Chhole Bhature, Cold Badam Pista Kulfi and Dry Fruit Kulfi are enough to gain foodie nirvana, in our opinion. They’re not kidding when they say their food is made of 100 per cent pure ghee, just so you know. We’re scampering over there ASAP, how about you?!

This place probably needs no introduction! As old as 1872, this paratha shop has been around and bustling for decades, and rightfully so. Now in their sixth generation, they have preserved the uniqueness of their art and food. Parathas are served with three different sabzis, kele ki saunth, pickles and luscious sweet lassi in kulhads. If you’re in the vicinity, you just have to eat these parathas, period!
