Still in the same location, the quality of their offerings remains top-notch. The dream of every chicken lover, Butter Chicken itself might have been birthed at this very place!

2. Kwality Restaurant

Established nearly 60 years ago, Kwality is tucked in the core of the city, CP. People claim that this restaurant definitively began the fine-dining culture in Delhi. This place offers delectable Indian cuisine, bringing a regal touch to quality Indian comfort food and we hear that their Chicken Chops, and the Channe Bhature are absolutely to-die-for!

3. Karim’s

This place is essentially a paradise for meat lovers. Tucked in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi, right opposite Jama Masjid, it has been around for more than a century - 1913, to be exact. Karim’s is renowned for its succulent Biryani, Nihari, Mutton Korma and Chicken Kebabs. Needless to say, this place ranks high on every foodie’s bucket list and defo cannot be missed!

Tucked within the hustle and bustle of Karol Bagh is a small and coveted shop, which is a legend when it comes to street food delicacies. Roshan Di Kulfi’s Chhole Bhature, Cold Badam Pista Kulfi and Dry Fruit Kulfi are enough to gain foodie nirvana, in our opinion. They’re not kidding when they say their food is made of 100 per cent pure ghee, just so you know. We’re scampering over there ASAP, how about you?!

5. Kannaiylal Durga Parshad Dixit Parawthe Wala

This place probably needs no introduction! As old as 1872, this paratha shop has been around and bustling for decades, and rightfully so. Now in their sixth generation, they have preserved the uniqueness of their art and food. Parathas are served with three different sabzis, kele ki saunth, pickles and luscious sweet lassi in kulhads. If you’re in the vicinity, you just have to eat these parathas, period!

This restaurant started way back in 1959 and has served decadent Indian cuisine for ages. The Butter Chicken and Rara Kabab, along with Roomali Rotis served here are simply yummilicious and deserve to be tried. The food is delicious, the ambience is amazing and the place is iconic. Located in the Connaught Circle, Kake Da Hotel has been a pioneer of North Indian cuisine since 1931 - woah!
