The movie takes inspiration from the real-life events of the 1980’s hijackings in India, including the 1984 Indian Airlines Airbus A300 hijacking. In this, Rocky is now the new overlord of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) who is feared by his enemies and is considered to be the saviour by his allies. The story follows Rocky’s quest for unchallenged supremacy and we’re waiting expectantly for it to release soon!

Vikrant Rona is an upcoming Kannada-language 3D fantasy film that is full of adventure, action, thriller and mystery. The film stars Kichcha Sudeep and Jacqueline Fernandez and from what we’ve gathered, the lead will play a role similar to Indiana Jones and carries a revolver and whip, much like the character Indiana Jones. But we’re still guessing and scrambling for straws with this one, which makes us even more excited for its release!

5. Bhuj: The Pride of India

Bhuj is an upcoming Hindi-language war drama film with a star-studded cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra and Nora Fathehi. This war film is set during the 1971 Indo-Pak war when the IAF airstrip at Bhuj was destroyed in combat. Following the disaster, IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik played by Ajay Devgn heroically leads 300 local women to toil day and night to reconstruct the airbase, marking a pivotal moment in the war that eventually led to victory for India and boosted morale. Shershaah stars our very own heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra and the beautiful Kiara Advani in this Karan Johar co-production. This upcoming Hindi-language biographical war film is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee and army captain Vikram Batra, and Sidharth plays both Vikram and his identical twin brother Vishal in this much-anticipated war thriller. You’ll soon get to watch the film on Amazon Prime and we’re surely waiting with bated breath for this one!

Dial 100 is an upcoming Hindi-language thriller drama film starring Manoj Bajpayee and Nina Gupta in the lead roles. As obvious from the name, the film premises around a police emergency control room where they receive a distressed call from a woman who wants to commit suicide. Manoj Bajpayee as officer Nihil Sood tries to calm her down but soon realises that the woman has other sinister intentions and that his family might be in danger. Intrigued? Well, so are we!

This Malayalam-language film has the superstar Mohanlal Viswanathan taking the lead role and walking in the footsteps of the main character Neyyattinkara Gopante Aaraattu. The film follows the main lead who is a native of Neyyattinkara and a real estate tycoon. He buys a large piece of land in Chittur for a construction purpose but is enraged to find when he reaches there that the residents over there are being forcefully evicted by an Andhra-based real estate mafia using illegal land acquisition rules and seems to be controlling the local authorities as well. The movie follows the challenges he faces once he returns!

Tadap, literally translating to ‘yearning’ is an upcoming Hindi-language film and is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film, RX 100. Tadap marks the first film of the debutant Ahan Shetty, son of actor Sunil Shetty. The film also stars Tara Sutaria and the film is said to be a love saga with both leads having strong and prominent roles with a lot of drama and heartbreak if we take a page from the original movie!
