Back in 1905, an 11-year old boy named Frank Epperson left soda powder, water and a wooden stirrer in a cup by accident, which had frozen overnight by the chilly weather. This was the birth of the Epsicle which he sold in his neighbourhood and later patented. Years later, he changed its name to the popsicle. Interesting, no? 

2. Some Fungi Create Zombies, Then Control Their Minds

A specific kind of tropical fungi known as Ophiocordyceps infects ants’ central nervous systems. By the 9th day, these fungi have complete control of the ants’ mind and over their movements.
