It is one of the first cafés that you see as you enter Hudson Lane. A rooftop dinner, live music, and crazily delicious Lasagne? Yes, please. Judge And Jury indeed do justice when it comes to the food and the pocket. This themed café is a great hangout spot by the day and the perfect place for a date at night with brownie points for their huge portion sizes!

5. Big Yellow Door

With jazzy Tibetan décor, dim yellow lights and soothing music, this café gives the vibe of that college trip that our parents didn’t allow us to go for! It’s a lovely place to spend time with friends over good food, so Young Wild Free gets our vote for being a cool AF DU cafe that you should check out!

While they do serve a variety of delicious dishes, their Tandoori Momos take the momo crown in Delhi and for good reason. Their fries are what happy dreams look like and keep us students coming back for more again and again. When here, pair your share of their insane fries with their yummy and thick shakes - their Popcorn Caramel Shake is seriously delish AF and is not to be missed!

This place echoes with laughter and banter at all times! The long queue outside Rico’s is a clear indicator of it being a student favourite, and why wouldn’t it be? The best pizzas plus the best playlist equals a fun time with BFFs. Their Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and Texas Poppers are the perfect appetisers and if you love waffles, it doesn’t get any better than their Waffle Sundae - so make sure you plan a BFF gossip sesh date here!

If a DU kid hasn’t raved about this place’s pancakes, then are they a DU-ite? AMA Cafe, snuggled in the lanes of MKT gives off those chilled-out mountain cafe vibes and is a sure-shot place to visit if you’re looking for a fulfilling and coma-inducingly good breakfast or brunch. Give their Double Chocolate Pancakes, American Breakfast Non-Veg and 4 Cheese Pizza a try and then thank us later!

Woodbox Cafe is another hangout spot where you’ll spot the entire DU gang chilling after classes or *shh* bunking those boring lectures and wolfing down incredible treats. The pretty cafe also makes for a great date night in the evening, but you’ll mostly find college students chilling with their friends and devouring tasty dishes like Carnivorous Plate, Chicken Momos Platter and Picante Pizza! Not only is Diggin so aesthetically pleasing that you’ll feel like you’re in wonderland, but the food here also takes the cake. You’ll find flocks of DU-sites swarming the area looking to chill with their friend's gang or come evening, go out on a romantic dinner date amidst loads of fairy lights. Their Smoked Cheese & Grilled Zucchini Pizza and Grilled Pork Chop & Coury Sausages are worth tasting and we’d recommend their Plum Pudding served with Brandy Sauce for a foodie treat like none other!
