With a chunk of the population travelling to Goa’s beaches, we thought we’d enlighten you with some adrenaline-filled treks that are not for the faint-hearted. 1. Brahmatal Trek

With gigantic snow-capped mountains, frozen lakes and enchanting forests, this trek is perfect for the peak winter months of January and February. The temperature can reach sub-zero levels during the night so come prepared with multiple layers of clothes. We can’t be sure of the altitude but the Himalayan peaks are sure to take your breath away.

Kedarkantha Trek is one of the best climbs for beginners. It is popular for its iconic campsites, Deodar, Pine and Oak forests. When you reach the summit and look back at how far you’ve come, the peace and satisfaction that comes with it are unparallel, no seriously! It is legit a terrific trek for all you snow babies.

You camp on two of the most picturesque lakes in the country and let the alpine views refresh your soul. Prepaid sims don’t work in Kashmir so you might have to postpone talking to bae for a few days or better yet, take them along for a memorable trip!

However, walking hours can go up to 9 hours on some days so make sure to gear up on that cardio beforehand.
