Located roughly 37 kms south of the Andaman Islands, this place is known as the vegetable bowl of the Andamans. The emerald blue azure water, white sandy beaches and a tropical climate makes it the perfect place to unwind in the bosom of nature.

The names of the beaches have been derived from the Epic Ramayana - Laxmanpur, Bharatpur & Sitapur. You can spend your mornings soaking in the warm sun, indulging in water sports after which you can take on a trek to watch the splendour of the natural rock formation also known as Howrah Bridge at Laxmanpur. This is a coral beach wherein you will definitely get to see a few types of jellyfish, starfish & sea cucumbers etc.

Bharatpur beach is half a kilometer away from the jetty and caters to all kinds of water activities like jet skiing & glass bottom boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, bird watching, turtle nesting (Sir Hugo Rose island), jungle treks and cycling etc. Retire for the day after a hearty meal at Garden View Restaurant or at the Tango Beach Restaurant.

Happy exploring!
