Primitively just a hanging ropeway, the Ram Jhula was modified and made into an iron suspension in the 1980's. There are markets on both side of Ganges, along with some major attractions such as Sivananda Ashram, Yoga Niketan, Parmarth Niketan, Beatles Ashram among others. The 2-tier fall situated 8 kms from the Lakshman Jhula is a cascading beauty to visit in Rishikesh. The waterfall has a two-faced stream gushing down from the mighty hillock proving advantageous for rappelling and trekking. You can take a dip in its cold water or simply relax by the pool.

The temple is dedicated to the Neel Kanth Bhagwan, ShivJi.
