1. Empress Garden

Empress Garden is one of the largest gardens in Pune that houses a huge variety of flowers and vegetation, some of them extremely rare. It’s a popular picnic spot amidst the Punekars, for it is all-inclusive - play zone for kids, a plant nursery, a lotus pond, a library, indoor games, a snack corner and lush green lawns to sit around at. The stream that winds through the garden adds to its ethereal beauty.

2. Bund Garden

Bund Garden is located beside the historic Fitzgerald Bridge and it gets its name from the dam, or bund as it is called in the native language, erected on the Mula river. A well maintained lush green destination, the garden offers scenic views during sunsets, owing to the glistening Mula river, thus making it the ideal spot for an evening stroll.

3. Saras Baug

Saras Baug is one of the cleanest parks in the city. Situated on the bed of a dried lake, Saras Baug provides a holistic outing experience with attractions like photo ops and the Talyatla Ganapati temple, which translates as the Ganapati in the lake. It’s dotted with beautiful vibrant flowers of all varieties and has a small lake with gorgeous lotuses blooming in it. All in all, it's a scenic garden to lose some heat in the evening.

4. Sambhaji Park
