The Armenian church is an 18th-century masterpiece that sports palatial black and white marble interiors. The walls are adorned with paintings and frescoes depicting numerous Christian folklore. This church houses the oldest known Christian cemetery that is with greens adorning the field all over. 4. St. John’s Church

One of the first public buildings constructed by the East India Company, St. John’s Church is the 3rd oldest church in Kolkata. With immense historical significance, the church is built with a concotion of bricks and stones, thus deeming it as a Stone Church. The 174 ft long stone spire, the black hole incident memorial and the Job Charnock memorial are major attractions here. Come over for your dose of serenity and knowledge!
