Spread over 36 acres, the garden was built as a memorial to the late N.T Raman Rao and offers a wide range of attractions like the Laser show, boating, several eateries to gorge on delish food and a monorail. You can also unwind at the Machan Tree and the Japanese Garden which are the epitome of aesthetic visuals and are sure to rejuvenate and refresh your mind and soul, so make sure you drop by!

16. Osman Sagar Lake

Osman Sagar, also known as Gandipet Lake, spread across an area of 4 km is the main reservoir for the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The lake was built in 1920 by the Hyderabadi Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan to protect the land from recurring floods. Presently, it provides a serene setting to cycle down for you to spend some quality time in the morning and evenings with your family while enjoying the breathtaking sunrise and sunset. It is also known for the rock garden around it and provides some of the best views of the sky and the water, so don’t forget to carry your camera for those gorgeous ‘gram photos!

17. Nagarjuna Sagar Dam

A visit to Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is not as boring as it sounds and you can expect it to be quite the opposite! So, if you’re looking for an educational trip with amazing views, then this is the one! Constructed across Krishna River, the dam is located 160 kilometres from Hyderabad so you can even make a whole day trip out of it too! When you get there take a tour of the whole place while enjoying the weather and make sure you don’t miss the bridge across the dam to take in the panoramic views.

18. Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park

If you want to make the most of a day with great weather then what better way to do it than taking a leisurely stroll through the KBR National Park? Touted to be one of the hidden gems of Hyderabad, this spot is best for taking a walk amidst lush green nature. The park offers lots to do like a designated yoga section, an open gym, walking and running tracks, and even a beautiful mosque! Just imagine watching the sunset or sunrise with birds and peacocks all around and a cool breeze *Ahh~*  what more could you ask for?

19. Ananthagiri Hills

If you’re someone who loves the feeling of being one with nature and prefers going for short treks, then you can’t pass on this one. A 2-3 hour drive from Hyderabad, Ananthagiri Hills makes for a nice day trip in the lap of nature. It is a short hike through the forest to reach the top of this hillock where you will be welcomed with breathtaking views of the green landscape that lies below. While you’re there pop by the Anantha Padmanabha Temple to seek some blessings too!
