Butter Chicken has always been one of the most fave dishes in the capital and selecting the best restaurant for it has always been a huge debate. But we here at So Delhi, are big fans of the Butter Chicken at Moti Mahal in Chandni Chowk, where it all began back in the 50s! It tastes slightly sweet and the sauce percolates so deeply into the chicken pieces that they become juicy and soft, instantly melting in your mouth. The dish is so extravagantly buttery so no calorie-counting allowed!

At the end of the street, identified as the ‘old double-storey’ area, or Gupta Market in Lajpat Nagar IV of Amar Colony, Baba Nagpal Corner rests placidly, outlined with its red and white canopy. It is exceptionally famed across Delhi for its Chole Bhature and a visit to the joint is obligatory when it comes to indulging in this dish.
