Y'All Might Not Have To Face Traffic Jams On The IGI Airport Route With This New Flyover!

Delhi has multiple ongoing road projects and while some of them wrap up on time, others sometimes miss the deadline. And one such flyover which will ease the drive from South & East Delhi as well as Noida to the domestic & international airport terminals, after missing a number of deadlines, has finally been thrown open to the public!

Easier Commute Ahead? | The Rao Tula Ram (RTR) Flyover is finally ready for public use after missing 6 deadlines. The plan was to decongest the busy Vasant Vihar, South Campus and Moti Bagh corridors with this flyover. CM Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the much-awaited flyover on Tuesday, the 16th of July, which will make the lives of numerous commuters on this route so much easier (phew)!

The other part of this project includes the construction of an underpass which will see completion by the end of 2019. This 3-lane, 1.5 kms underpass will link South Campus and Chanakyapuri’s San Martin Road.

Did you know the extension of Barapullah Flyover to Mayur Vihar Phase I also has a deadline of December 2019? Yep, this signal-free flyover will reduce the travel time between East Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Let’s hope this eases up the massive traffic congestions on these roads!
