Witness 2500 Stalls Over 9 Days @ The New Delhi World Book Fair Starting This Weekend!
Bibliophiles brace yourselves! One of India’s oldest book fairs, New Delhi World Book Fair is back with yet another edition (44th) and it starts this weekend! We’re super excited!
We hear that the nine-day fair, touted as the largest international fair in the Afro-Asian region, will play host to 1500 participants from across India, including over 50 foreign exhibitors.
“More than 2500 stalls will showcase books and reading material in Hindi, English, and other Indian languages for all age-groups, on a wide range of subjects and genre,” NBT stated in an announcement. There will also be cultural programmes showcasing the folk and classical heritage of India! (Inputs Via Financial Express).
It will obviously provide retail opportunities as all of us book lovers can't resist from hoarding novels in huge numbers. But it also has another agenda like inculcating good reading habits in children, providing a unique platform for business transactions, establishing new contacts and much more.
We're definitely blocking these dates on our calendars with little hearts right now, how about you?
