#WhatWeAteInADay: 5 All-Out Delish Veggie Dishes For All You Vegetarians To Dig Into!

We love multi-cuisine affairs and we cannot tell you how often we run towards a place that promises tasty food from far away lands! We cruise over from Pan-Indian to South Asian and European delicacies in a matter of minutes from placing those orders to gobbling up delish preparations in a jiffy.

We’re all for tasty food served with panache and when we see it, we make sure you know all about it! Here’s all you gotta know about our tryst with some yummies over the past weekend that we have no hesitation recommending to y’all *grins*!

1. Vault Special Vegetarian Dumplings

Our love for momos makes sure we order up at least one of its variations from every menu that we put under our noses. So there we were with our bamboo steamers piping hot and full of delicious dumplings making their way into our hungry tummies. Order this up, it was g-o-o-o-d!

2. Tofu & Bell Pepper In Hunan Chilli Sauce

This Asian dish is perfect to wake up your palate because the hunan sauce is magical! This hot n sweet sauce that uses sherry in its preparation tastes mighty fine with the tofu and is a great option for a starter. With some kimchi salad on the side and crunchy bell peppers & green onions, it calls for a second mouthful and then a third and then a fourth - you get the drift!

3. Vegetarian Lasagna

Creamy, crunchy and absolutely fresh. It tasted wonderfully creamy and satisfying, to say the least! This layered beauty came all dolled up in fresh greens and the yummy cream made sure we dug our hungry forks in again and again. It was filling yet not overly heavy, which is the perfect combo!

4. Authentic Red Bean Burger 

Our good ol’ burger returns and we really liked this version! With its South American flavours and the well-spiced red bean patty, it was really flavourful and brought our taste buds to roaring life! The coleslaw was well made and fresh to go along with the burger - defo go for this when you’re super famished!

5. Tiramisu

This was the perfect way to end our meal. Not overly sweet with the mascarpone cheese and cocoa creating a delightful play of flavours, the Tiramisu over at Vault does NOT disappoint. It’s super light, and just how a dessert should be - YUM!

The Vault Cafe has been on our minds ever since it surfaced amidst the hustle-bustle of CP. With a great theme and retro vibes to it, along with the multi-cuisine fare that they offer, this time we headed over with a ‘Veggie frame of mind’ and now we’ve found all the more reasons to keep going back again AND again.
