What! NOO! This Lawmaker Wants To Ban Momos Altogether & We're Not Having It!

These steamed bundles of joy in the form of maida with stuffings of a variety of veggies and meat that we call momos, might soon be banned in the city! WHAT?!?!

YES! 

Everybody loves momos, but apparently not lawmaker Ramesh Arora of Jammu and Kashmir who feels the need to ban this delicacy because it might cause life threatening diseases. Damn! He wants the dumplings dumped for good and we just can’t wrap our heads around it! 

This momo ban is being routed because of the harmful inclusion of ajinomoto in these delicacies, which is a major no-no when it comes to health issues. Momos have been found to be the root cause of several life-threatening diseases, including cancer of the intestine!

Ajinomoto, a kind of salt, causes serious diseases including cancer. It’s responsible for converting a minor headache into a full-blown migraine. The salt induces the pancreas to excrete extra drops of insulin, causing imbalance in the body, and prompts people to overeat as it triggers hunger.

All this and lots more, but we’re just not ready to part ways from yummy street momos right now! NOPE, not happening!
