We May Soon Get Aadhaar, Passport & Bank Accounts In One Single Unique ID

Have you ever wondered what if we had a single ID card that would serve all the other purposes and do away with so many documents that you have to carry everywhere you go? Well, this might just happen according to a recent announcement!

All For One & One For All | So, we just heard that there’s a possibility that India might soon have a unique identity card that could be utilised as Aadhaar, passport, bank account and even driving license! This was announced by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, the 23rd of September. Yep and that’s not all he said.

He also announced that the next census which is happening in 2021 will be collected digitally. The 16th census will be collected by way of a mobile app - nice! The National Population Register is being prepared for this which is said to reduce gender inequality and bring law and order in the city!
