10 'Bun'derful Dishes Like Bun Nutella & Shakshouka We Tried @ Newbie PappaRoti!

Serving super fresh, mouthwatering buns and more, PappaRoti had us tempted with the pictures of their buns alone. We were so eager to try their world-famous buns that we rushed over the day after they opened their outlet in Gurgaon! The place is actually quite spacious, and the aroma of freshly baked buns had us drooling in no time. Here’s everything we gobbled up at this awesome new outlet of the renowned international chain:

1. Bun - Lotus Biscuits

A warm bun that came topped with a biscuit flavoured sauce - a one of its kind and we couldn’t wait to dig into this one! The softness of the bun could be inferred from how deep our forks dug in with the slightest pressure. All gooey and buttery inside, this bun was simply meant to be devoured whole - come to PappaRoti to sample this alone!

2. Bun - Nutella With Almonds

Topped with irresistible Nutella sauce and almonds, this bun was simply delectable! Warm, soft and super yummy, we couldn’t get over how gooey it was on the inside, yet crisp on the outside! This bun was basically a blob of happiness on a plate that tasted simply heavenly *starry eyed*!

3. Nutella With Caramel Milkshake

While we were waiting for our buns, we thought some cool shakes would be great in the warm winter sun. This Nutella milkshake topped with caramel syrup was just the perfect thing to get us started with our dose of sweetness for the day! Yummy and filling, we really liked this one and you will too!

4. Chocolate Brownie Frappe

We ordered their Chocolate Brownie Frappe next, which came topped with a portion of brownie *aww*. Bringing together the addictive flavours of coffee and chocolate just perfectly, topped with a dollop of whipped cream, this frappe made the wait for the buns every bit worthwhile!

5. Chicken Double Chow

We had absolutely no idea what this would be, and were in for quite a delectable surprise! A hollowed-out cuboid of perfectly toasted bread stuffed with lip-smacking butter chicken, this sandwich was simply out of this world! We almost did not notice the fries and the salad on the side. Definitely going back for this!

6. Shakshouka

Even though it was well past breakfast time, but the tummy wants what it wants, right? We don’t get to see shakshouka on a lot of menus, so we really couldn’t hold back when we saw it here. The tomato and chilli base was delicious and the half-done yolks were simply yummy to the next level!

7. Onion Rings With Garlic Aioli

While we were unsure about which sandwich to order, we were 100% certain that the munching shouldn’t stop. So these crunchy Onion Rings accompanied by a garlic dip turned out to be pretty great as their crispness was on point and we just couldn’t stop ourselves from polishing off the entire plateful!

8. Chicken Popcorn

If there’s something vegetarian to munch on, there should obviously be something meaty too! The Chicken Popcorn seemed like the perfect next dish to order. These small little spheres of crunchiness accompanied by a thick, tangy dip were so light and addictive, we never realized how quickly they disappeared off our plates!

9. Bruschetta

These overloaded bruschettas were not just full of onions and tomatoes, they were topped with lots and lots of our favourite thing in the world - yes, cheeeese! A complete meal on their own, needing absolutely no extra seasoning or dip whatsoever, each bruschetta was yummylicious!

10. Jasmine Pearls Tea

We decided to end our filling and fulfilling meal with a soothing cup of tea from their nine exotic flavours of teas. Our tea came with a cutesy little tea timer that had three tiny hourglasses, timing 2 minutes, 3 minutes, and 5 minutes respectively. This helps you brew your tea with clockwork precision!

All in all, PappaRoti’s buns are undoubtedly some of the best buns we’ve had around Delhi NCR and would strongly recommend you to try them out! The other dishes on their menu are quite yummy as well, but our heart is set on the Chicken Double Chow Sandwich that we’re going back for real soon!
