Thursday Night Qawwali @ Nizamuddin Dargah Has Been Discontinued & Here's Exactly Why!

Sufi nights at Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah have been one of the biggest attractions that most of us relate to with the dargah, but guess what, Thursday nights at the dargah will no longer be the same! The popular Jumerat Qawwali will no longer be taking place till further notice due to a really shocking reason! 

Why This Is Happening | We’re just going to cut to the chase and tell you why such a harsh decision has been taken. After 7 decades of getting to attend these performances for free, some websites and social media groups have been scamming the audiences and charging them Rs 200 to attend these completely free and open to all qawwali sessions! DAMN! 

Thursday being the most ‘exciting’ day was the targeted one and thus qawali sessions for the same have been stopped, but on all other days of the week they will continue as per the usual schedule. 

This regrettable incident has left such a bitter aftertaste for the regulars, and we’re hoping the culprits are caught and brought to justice!
