Hello, Delhiites! Sunday is a day when you meet up with a friend and go out for a drive or eat at your fave restaurant. But with the current scenario, going out is not really an option. Plus this Sunday you won’t be able to step out. Here’s why.
One-Day Curfew | Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on 19th March, Thursday wherein he discussed the current scenario with the ongoing pandemic. Keeping social distancing in mind he announced that 22nd of March, Sunday will be observed as ‘Janta Curfew’ which is defined as the curfew of the people and by the people. The aim is to not step out of the house unless it’s an absolute necessity.
The curfew will be valid from 7 AM to 9 PM and at 5 PM the nation will express gratitude to round the clock workers like health specialists, delivery persons, armed forces, sanitation workers and more.
So, let’s not step out of our houses at all on Sunday and let’s make social distancing a success Dilli walo!
