This Legendary 75-Year-Old Eatery In Jama Masjid Does Buttery & Melt-In-Your-Mouth Mutton Kebabs

Rejoice, meat lovers! An eatery that has withstood the test of time for about 3 quarters of a century, Lalu Kebabee has been dishing out the creamiest kebabs that you and your fellow foodies gotta binge on. We mean, you can always trust Dilli 6 for the best quality of non-veg, no? And we’re here to tell you about this one dish that caught our fancy on our latest expedition of the area!

Utterly, Butterly, Delicious | Located in the bustling lanes of Jama Masjid, Lalu Kebabee is now run by its second generation of owners. Usually overcrowded, this seemingly humble shop serves out a huge amount of freshly made kebabs throughout the day. Their offerings are grilled to perfection and soaked in butter, served with some mint & yoghurt chutney. 

One of our favourites from this shop is the Mutton Seekh Kebab, which is priced at 200 bucks for half plate and Rs 400 for a full plate. Served with rumali roti, the moment you take the first bite, you’ll know how beautifully the kebabs melt in your mouth, leaving behind the silkiness of butter. With a perfect blend of spices and herbs, these Mutton Seekh Kebabs are undoubtedly one of our fave Purani Dilli snacks.
